EPLI and D&O Coverage Renewal Requirements

MHAPCI is committed to raising awareness of current laws and enacting best practices to reduce losses for all of our Members.
MHAPCI Board Policy Section O was created to facilitate this goal. “Requirements for Liability Coverage for Directors & Officers and for Employment Practices,” was initially adopted in February 2020, with an effective date of January 1, 2021. The policy was amended April 9, 2020 due to extenuating circumstances experienced by our Members, and the effective date was changed to 2022 renewal. The policy was vetted and approved by both MHAPCI’s Safety & Loss Control Committee and the full Board of Directors.
Streamline Your Submission
When you have completed the self-certification process, email your signed certificates to info@mhapci.com with the wording “signed certificates” and your Housing Authority name in the subject line. This allows MHAPCI staff to instantly recognize this important communication.
